#Russia journalist Marina Naumova, who reports a lot from the occupied territories of #Ukraine, gave an interview on the state TV. She says rather explicitly that the relatives of soldiers and civilians killed by Russian army make "hundreds of thousands, millions" of children, who "will grow up and hate Russia". Therefore, she postulates, Russia needs to "go to the end" (capture the whole Ukraine), "work with these people for many years using propaganda, give away some teddy bears, reprogram them to live in the Russian world". Then she says she's not sure if this will work, "but it's what we need to do".

Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky says he's most shocked by the fact she so openly speaks about what is a textbook description of a #genocide on Russian state TV, thus normalizing it for the Russian audience and preparing them for more war crimes. She also essentially signals that the war started by Russia has no other goals than a simple land grab, and that specifically all these sophisticated reasons voiced by Putin before were all bullshit 🤷‍♂️
