SBF having consequences is purely a product of him having rich victims. As with Holmes and Theranos, the only reason this trial happened is because SBF's made the mistake of causing harm to the rich and famous - look at all the other crypto fraudsters, the ones that have had *any* consequences had VC or similar funding, as long as you aren't defrauding someone with a congressperson on speed dial you're fine.
