Monarchy is the natural emergency of social structures. However, the new element of the game is absolute freedom money, the first time in history where we have money no one can control individually.
What will be pretty interesting is the natural emergency of monarchies coupled with absolute freedom money. Perhaps we might finally have the incentives for the ancient greek ideal of rulers, since people will be free to opt out anytime. So the only way to guarantee social authority will be only by display high moral standard to enforce justice.
