I just watched a short explanation of this market turmoil and it puts pretty much the entire issue on Japan's monetary governor for drastically increasing their interest rates causing a twenty trillion dollar amount of movement out of western exchanges back into the Nikkei index so I'm not certain how much is due to the long overdue AI bubble bursting.
