Updating a chapter on "Understanding Software" and am stating clearly that LLMs won't make programming go away, instead they will turn most everyone into a programmer. An even more vital skill is the ability to understand code, to be able to effectively follow the logic of and evaluate generated code, and understand if and how generated code will be incorporated into larger systems. LLMs can already generate knowledge worker. [1]
