The U.S. right has been running on the exact same policies since the 1930s: indifference/hostility to racial justice, anger against independent women, and giving businesses unlimited freedom to exploit the public and their employees.
This is an unpopular agenda though, so instead of running on it, the authoritarians pretend to be the real liberals.
