Gaiman’s rebuttal makes the whole story sound like a he said/she said (actually a he said/lots of shes said). I imagine some will read it and ask, “Well, I wasn’t there. How do I know who to believe?”
But it’s simple, really: believe the person who didn’t ask the other one to sign an NDA about their relationship.
