After an evening of looking through fairly old stuff on the laptop, looks like I cannot avoid finding my box of USB and FireWire backup drives to find old stuff that isn't on the laptop for some reason.
You'd think two and a half terabytes of space would mean I don't have to move stuff onto USB drives. Well, it wasn't always two and a half terabytes.
I did find some interesting old stuff, including the early years of my blog, mostly 1997-2002.
The word "blog" didn't exist in July of 1997.
