This is very real. The IRS is not required to report illegal activity to any other agency, their mandate it to get as much money as possible. So if you report your stolen good they will not give it to other agencies or respond to subpoenas if you are arrested. Not that they can't they won't if you properly file. Because they make more money if you are able to keep stealing. You file this form than they keep their silence and throw away your deductions and charge you more. State legal cannabis shops pay a lot if federal taxes. If you don't want to risk this, that is fine. When you are caught by the state and charged, the IRS will see the money you made illegally. They will then charge you a usurious amount in penalties for late fees. They will, if they want, treat you like Al Capone and through you in jail for 25 to life, in an administrative court. So admit you are a criminal to the IRS and hope they don't hammer you because they will steal you blind , or Lie to the IRS, compound your sins and when they do find out they take your life away. My not binding legal advice, if it's 5 year sentence and you didn't at anytime own a gun, because the feds hate the second amendment, pay the IRS. Your risking 25 to life for not filing and for selling your doctor scripts on the street your risking only say 2 to 10 years in a non federal prison to fund your drug habit. Better never to make the mistake and get addicted in the first place but hey I am not your papa. If you have a gun for defense because drugs and gang are dangerous and have drugs in your possession you are just screwed so don't pay the IRS because you're getting the same sentence. Because if anyone dies it's felony murder even if your just sleeping on your couch and just knew about the drug deal. That is because you were "in" on the conspiracy and they will have you on RICO, or lying to the cops, and the gun will kick it up to your dead meat level charges. Lying or conspiracy will be the underlying felony, the gun will kick it up to violent offender standards and someone somewhere died so it was reckless and so felony murder will apply. You are now a violent druggy with a gun when someone died, even if you were asleep on the couch or just driving or just standing around and only knew about the drug deal.
