The policy of the British government should be this:
Ceasefire.
Ignore the Israel lobby.
Ban arm-sales to Israel.
Use diplomatic pressure to bring Israel back towards a workable two-state* solution and end apartheid.
If Keir Starmer can't call for this and instead carries on saying he'll wait for Washington's position to change, he should resign. We desperately need independent foreign policy.
*I'd favour a single-state secular solution, but meh let's go with the UN position for now.
