My husband died a week ago from a brain tumor that grew so quickly, he was unresponsive by the time I got to him in the hospital. The only thing he left was a scrap of paper in a secure location with the master password to his password manager, on one of numerous laptops that I couldn’t get into. On top of all the stress and grief, my long Covid is making it impossible for me to concentrate or figure anything out.
Tonight one of the most famous hackers in our industry made time to come over and break into systems until they found the database, and reset everything so I had access. I’m continually amazed at how kind and giving these folks are. My heart is fit to bust from gratitude. 💚
