A couple months ago I bought a used desktop from a local electronics recycler for a couple hundred bucks, mainly to run a dedicated game server.
It came w/ Windows 10, which was handy because I had already built up Windows tooling on an older box.
...but Win10 will become unsupported in 16 months, and - despite having a TPM module - it can't be upgraded to Win11 because its Core i7-7700 CPU is "too old".
I'll probably have to switch it over to Linux, which may be better for performance anyway
