Same sentiment. For applications that require long term maintainance, vibe coding isn't helpful because you need to have an in-depth understanding of the codebase. You can assign ai specific well defined scoped features in which you know what the output should be but again very likely you could have done it faster than the AI.
Maybe vibe coding is just more prevalent in frontend development than in other aspects.
