As we come up on Mother's Day, think of the people who have lost parents, especially recently. Also, and less mentioned, those without children, which was sometimes not by choice. Mother's Day is like ripping open a wound every year. I say this because every year, I have people who don't really know me automatically say "Happy Mother's Day" to me because they assume I am one. Never assume, not for this.
This isn't New Year's. The holiday doesn't apply to everyone and is painful for some. 🙏
