I recall that vaguely (I'm rewatching some of the videos), I hadn't thought about it in a while.
I think that might be a fair bit too out of the computer for me (among other concerns/constraints) but then, they do highlight the communal computer target use-case so that's to be expected.
The midi-sequencing bit with paper is pretty neat and it would definitely be fun to make some poor hacker's take on modular synths with that. Some blu-tack, paper and some time using markers sure would be a lot cheaper & more readily available.
The implied structure of the underlying computing system is also quite intriguing.
The nearly-free integration of analog computing is also very neat.
