I saw a good part of that episode. Strange that owner of Iris was so candid with his victimization by the CRA. His explanation of how his company earned revenue was unsatisfactory. Yet he proudly displayed his rich-man toys.
When the GST was implemented in 1990, I could see the possibility of bogus out-of-Canada companies getting GST rebates. The Fifth Estate did not explain this very well.
