Recently finished reading "Softwar," and it has compelled me to reread "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn because of the strong thematic parallels that stood out for me, although "Ishmael" is fiction.
Nevertheless, the two books are talking about a lot of the same things, but "Ishmael" predates bitcoin by almost 20 years, and predates Adam Back's hashcash by 5 years.
It's great to read (or in my case re-read) the works of Daniel Quinn, but viewed through the lens of bitcoin-inspired Softwar.
It's also my intention to next reread Quinn's other two related works:
The Story of ₿ (1996)
My Ishmael (1997)
These were good books anway
