I’ve never had a fear of flying. I know people who actually have a paralyzing fear of it. One of my dearest friends, sadly now deceased, would never fly even if they needed to travel cross-country. They’d take three days on the train, there and back. Yet I’ll be taking off in less than 12 hours and I’m feeling uneasy. Admittedly this has more to do with the idea that I might forget something crucial and not think of it until it’s too late. It’s happened. (1/2)
