Poorly. It is too willing to re-write something from scratch than to carefully evolve it. Humans do this too: Oh, this code I wrote 10 years ago, I know so much more now, I want to rewrite it all. Now imagine that doing so is effortless. The bot has no incentive to minimize changes. Imho, not an unsolvable problem, but it is there.
