When I got Conroy deep in COVID times I was prepared to adore absolutely any cat I could get my hands on, but I was hoping for a lap cat after 20+ years of very loving gaze-at-you-from-across-the-room cats.
I still feel honored each of the dozen times a day he jumps up for snuggles.
I do wish he'd stop using my boobs as a launchpad at 4AM, though.
