Today we explored somewhere new. We don't know South Wales very well so today we caught the train to Bargoed and explored the Cwm Darran Park. What was once a railway line, where trains carried coal down from several mines, is now a pleasant walking and cycling trail. We went as far as the visitor centre and lake before retracing our steps and catching the train back to Cardiff.
