Selling frozen russian assets is not the right move. Taking their worth of debt with the assets as collateral and their proceeds as the interest payments is. When russia loses, the debt will be reassigned to them to pay back - by selling those assets, if necessary.
That keeps the incentive of shortening the war and minimizing damages on the right side - leaving russia with more to lose by continuing the war.
