As for freedom, the freedoms I had in America where not the ones I wanted: to own a gun, to die in the street if I ran out of money, to emit hate speech.

Here I have the right to privacy. I have a social safety net.

I moved back to Europe for a better life, and I got it. I can't imagine ever returning to the United States, with all those miserable, angry, and unhealthy people.
