"content": "People always perceive there to be more crime than there actually is. :huskyeyeroll: It's something I noticed a lot in Chicago when people would discuss \"dangerous neighborhoods\" and I'd reply with the actual crime statistics.\n\nPeople in lower income neighborhoods tend to be a lot nicer and a lot more sociable, while higher income neighborhoods tend to be more shut in and adversarial. Gimme a bunch of neighbors that hang out on their stoop any day.",
