Tilde Lowengrimm on Nostr: I don't know why, but I continue to be surprised and annoyed every time Amazon tries ...
I don't know why, but I continue to be surprised and annoyed every time Amazon tries to deliver packages outside the opening hours of the mail place and then asks me to update delivery instructions because they had trouble. I'd have thought that their incredible rainforest-burning supercomputer-powered customer-focused delivery system would try to match delivery routes to opening hours. But no. Not only do I get multiple deliveries from different Amazon drivers with different parts of an order on the same day, but some of them are at like 5am, and some of them are way late at night. Why even bother having the opening hours system? Why not reroute drivers and skip stops which are closed? Why not treat drivers like human beings with a living wage and benefits and the ability to work a day without having to pee in a bottle to avoid being dinged for slowness? Wait that's different. But still.
