Reducing spending is so much more about percentages than dollar amounts.
Getting something for 4 buck that shoulda been 6 saves you 33%, which is huge.
But using up mental bandwidth to save 2 bucks will cost you in the long run.
You have to set a threshold under which you just don’t think about it.
