I've worked sidejobs for bitcoin, but I technically still get paid in fiat, it's just that I convert it to sats with @strike.
Although they have direct deposit, my employer requires dead-tree paper technology to use it. I tried making a traditional check book with my cross river bank account number, but the fiat overlords did mot grant me permission.
