if you're a computer science academic, there's a good chance your department/unit claims to care about "societal impact of research"
my question is whether any of these units have any form of support* for faculty who choose *not* to fund their research through agencies/entities they consider societally *harmful*? (*e.g. help with figuring out where to submit grant proposals, guidelines for assessing their tenure/promotion cases in light of more limited funding sources, etc.)
