I feel this, for sure. But when I teach Python, there's a lot of scope for teaching broader programmer culture / good coding practice, that is enabled a lot by the ease of using modern paradigms in this language.
Enough so that I typically don't feel I'm just teaching features and tips, but rather teaching better ways to develop code.
