We have lost the ability to keep keep warming below +1.5°C
+1.5°C will likely become the average global increase by about 2030.
We are now on the steady march towards +2° of warming above the preindustrial average, with that temperature becoming the average around 2048.
In this 18 year period (2030-2048) we will experience an unprecedented and dangerous rise in #heatwaves and as a result the demand for cooling to keep people and animals safe will rise dramatically.
