New York City, 2020.
Gramercy Park is a small private park that blocks the boundary between Lexington Avenue and Irving Place. Keys, issued annually to residents of the park's fancy perimeter, are required for entry through the gates. There are many rules, including prohibitions on taking photographs, playing games, and experiencing most forms of outwardly detectable joy.
