It appears you’re using different definitions of the network effect, or look at it at different levels.
I think Roir thinks of it in terms of improvement of the value of nostr (to participants) when the number of participants increases, on the protocol level.
And Stu thinks of it more in terms of “leader claims it all/ users join and stay on the leading platform” type thing, which leads to the disproportionate growth and concentration of resources of the leading platform such as FB. And Nostr and alike protocols should render that obsolete.
