I’m not sure who wants to know this but Here’s what you’ll need for easy homemade pizza sauce:
🍅 2 canned tomatoes
🍅 2 tsp tomato paste
🧅 1 large yellow onion
🧄 6 cloves garlic (or more—because why not?!)
🧂 1 ½ tsp sea salt
🍬 ¼ tsp brown sugar
🌶 ½ tsp paprika
🌿 ¼ tsp parsley
🌿 ⅛ tsp thyme
🌿 ¼ tsp sage
🌿 2 tsp oregano
🌿 1-2 bay leaves (depending on size)
🫒 1 tbsp olive oil
How to make it:
1️⃣ Heat olive oil in a pan, then sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
2️⃣ Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, and all the seasonings.
3️⃣ Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes.
