I need to improve video playback performance on ny workstation. I get ~1 fps frame-dropping and frequent tearing on 30fps 1080p video.
I know it's demanding, but my cheap Walmart-purchased Blu-Ray player can handle it.
I was wondering if the problem was really my files, but I popped them onto a USB stick and tried them out on the player + HDTV and they look great
I feel like my production workstation ought to do as well.
Might need to upgrade video card?
