Our property is in a valley. The way the wind moves over the land, it often doesnt hit the ground, but stays about 50ft above. Its a strange phenomena in Spring when the strong winds come. I can sit outside and listen to the wind roaring overhead, but rarely have gusts at ground level. Its kind of scary and exciting.
