I don't mean to offend you but I think your argument is the result of being very silo'd. The broader culture needs far more engagement about bad Christian leadership than it does about staying away from paganism because paganism is a niche of a niche of autism about dead religion, but bad Christian leaders are literally everywhere all around us, influencing our friends and family. But if your mind is completely on dissident right stuff all the time it's easy to think we are bigger than we are and more in agreement than we are.
