WTF just realized its not just nfts, there are literally tokens on the BASE LAYER wtf. base layer is not made for this. use other layers. wth is this.
wtf. how are we suppose to save it from here? world had a single hope, and its being turned into hell.
hope we get over it somehow. idk.
i was so happy with the road bitcoin was taking, not trying to change base layer, but build on top of it. free market of changing L2/3 solutions, freely experimenting without the risk of breaking the bitcoin's simplicity. i liked side chains, layer 2, and layer 3 solutions. it was amazing.
now im learning there are fucking tokens on the FUCKING BASE LAYER. bitcoin is not designed for this kind of use case, and if you try to make it handle it, you will break its decentralization, security and simplicity. it was so elegant in my eyes, until today. thats just shitty dev code, everything on the same layer.
taproot was a mistake. what we needed was a layer 3, not another bitcoin feature. bitcoin was done. they keep changing it, like its not finished. they are not updating it for security updates, or optimizations, they are changing it. they dont have any stop line. they are not maintaining it. they are changing it.
i was hearing about taproot here and there, never really focused on it. because how could you do such changes to bitcoin. bitcoin is secure, unchanging thing. thats what bitcoin is, you can bring security updates, and stuff but nobody would bring more logic. people would notice, how can you work on bitcoin and be this irresponsible to see bitcoin as a toy right? but nope, it was nightmare. trojan horse to kill bitcoin.
i have been looking at core's github repo recently, and its awful, its horrible. the rate they have new commits is concerning. they are constantly doing something, instead of just reacting to security issues. and bugs.
how are we gonna save the humanity from the *** now?
