Oftentimes they start ok but then fizzle out. Man in the High Castle I enjoyed the first season and then wasn't interested in the rest.
It also clicks differently of course, even at different times. I tried The Expanse a few years ago and wasn't into it, but I just started it again and I'm definitely into it
