It's amazing how much of my life I've just stayed quiet because I didn't want to annoy anyone.

I'd hold off on posting stuff. Hell! I'd even hold off on retweeting/retooting/sharing stuff I liked because that was still me making noise.

I was trained that way my whole life. I annoyed people and they let me know. And I spent most of my life feeling really alone. Of course I did. Sharing yourself is the primary way of letting people know who you are and if they'd even want to associate with you.

So, here I am, nearing my 40th birthday and only just now feeling comfortable just broadcasting all of me into the world. I don't care if I annoy some people. Those weren't my people anyways.
