I'm not so happy with Discovery, though. There were a few arcs I enjoyed and I really liked Saru's character. Obviously Discovery gets a lot of credit for launching this version of Pike and Strange New Worlds, but the overall show is just... I dunno... a mess, IMO. Perhaps it needed to exist to get us where we are now, though. Maybe not in terms of story, but like, production, etc.
