I used to think Y2K stuff was memory-holed because the problem was successfully solved and so nobody outside of IT experienced the impacts.
Now, because of COVID, I really think that explanation is too specific.
Now I think Y2K was memory-holed because, like, somebody said it was fine now or whatever. 🤷
