Context is everything.
Bradbury was a working writer whose life depended on selling stories. Like many of the greats.
If you were in his position you would have to produce a lot of output, some good some not so much, to sell enough to live.
So he's 100% right.
However, quality is not a function of words per second.
They are completely unrelated.
