I have also tried roasted #chicory as a substitute for #coffee. It tastes "similar" to coffee, does not need emulsifier (unlike cocoa) and gets spread evenly in milk (vegan or non-vegan). I think it worth the try. I drink it during weekend when I don't need to have my geek-mode enabled 😬
This is what I buy, but in your country it might be with a different brand/packaging:
