The harder ones to heal are those we inflict on ourselves.
Once I let go of the external hurts, I'm faced with all the things I've done to myself. The lies I've told me.
My therapist once asked, "If somebody else said that to you, would you believe it? Accept it?"
"Probably" wasn't the answer she expected.
