3/3 We can’t expect our holidays to go back to *normal* because the normal holidays we created in the 1970s & 1980s are unsustainable. Everything from coal burned to make the Chinese steel in the hotel construction to the swimming pool maintenance to food waste in hotel kitchens to the CO2 emitted in the food production - it is all unsustainable. It was all done & paid for by ‘us’ so we could have a fortnight in the sun - which we believe we have ‘earned’ but at what cost? #ClimateCrisis 3/3
