I greatly appreciate this comment. I also agree with much of what you said.
The contrasting views are always barking from various sides which is a problem for me. “Eternally secure in God’s hands” IS the very promise that many Lordship Salvation teachers and Calvinists claim they believe but they’ll say you need certain works and avoid certain sins to prove that that promise applies to you. That’s where the subtlety is where people get confused and lost. It is what happened to me until I found out about Free Grace Theology and what exegetical interpretation really means. These things unlocked so many passages that I could clearly see were being used and abused by teachers with their own personal bias.
