Yeah, Google hates adblockers and they're starting to gradually ban the most popular one, 'uBlock Origin'.
There are still workarounds and by-passes, but the direction this is heading is clear. "Clear", just like in "Clear IP Web", where they can identitfy and bombard us with ads at will. They invest a lot of money and work to keep their soon-to-be-absolete business model alive.
This is part of an overall master plan, along with banning VPNs and bypassing streaming ad blockers by injecting ads directly into the streams. While they arrogantly underestimate and ignore the newly emerging free web, of which the Nostr ecosystem is also a part.
Note, that Google is a bigger enemy of the free web than Twitter and Meta can ever be, and they are already further along in their plan. They have already disenfranchised website owners long ago and were the first to pull audience from them before Twitter and Facebook even existed or were significantly big enough. And they did so with dubious, ethical methods. 80% of you were too young when that happened back then, or simply too stupid to notice.
