Yukkuri (npub1j05…w8rl) i don't get the bomb reference, but I've built stuff designed to run on those SLA batteries that go inside UPS boxes - i always used intel Atom CPUs. <10W TDP, so you'd get 20 hours "wide open".
For even lower power usage i'd go with 4/4 core arm CPUs, probably - but if you're going to hand-manage the power usage you might do much better - like you said, on the scale of days, even with a 10W cpu :-)
