I remember one of the earliest delights on BlueSky was that it - the app - looked and behaved so much like OG Twitter. Quoting worked perfectly too. Remember that it was at a time when Mastodon folks are shooed away a lot of Twitter migrants saying that their old habits were not welcome on Mastodon.
The app was, and is, a delight to use. We don’t give enough credit for UX for driving growth.
