Lots of people rightly condemning the rise of the far right and gender critical movement in Ireland after the homophobic attack on that poor kid today. However the media's irresponsible culture war reporting on trans and LGBT issues has a big big part to play. The links between negative disinformed media reporting and rises in hate crime can't be overstated.
